Become a member of the Grampian Association of Storytellers

To our members we offer the following:
- A warm and friendly welcome to the world of storytelling through our organised events and workshops
- Updates by email (or post!) of all our Storytelling events
- A mentoring scheme through which experienced storytellers can support and develop the skills of emerging storytellers.
- The opportunity to join our Storytellers Register which will enable you to apply for storytelling requests by our customers
At present, our Storytellers register consists of two levels of storyteller, one for the seasoned professionals and one for those who are still finding their feet. Don't worry if you don't feel you are ready to tell in public on your own as a professional... yet! GAS offers the support to help you develop your skills into the storyteller you know you can be!
Storytelling work acquired through the Storytellers Register can quite often be paid and all we ask is a contribution to our funds. Money which will be fed back into the society to help us support storytelling in the North-East of Scotland.
Membership is currently £12 per annum, but this may be revised now that our register has been introduced. Watch this space!
