GASlight

GASlight is our newsletter - available to members & interested parties.  GASworks is the creative supplement, which will feature poetry, stories and songs from members.  This page has links to the newsletters and contributions from friends of GAS.

If you have anything for the newsletter, please email the Webmaster on grampianstoryweb@yahoo.co.uk. I have now taken on the Newsletter, so this is the main address for contributions.  Contributions should be sent as plain text, and photos attached as separate jpegs.

From our Editor:
The second GasLight will be coming out in September - the deadline for articles is 23 August 2008.  If you would like to submit a book or event review, your own storyteller profile, or your favourite story, do send it in before the deadline and we hope to have a bumper edition this time too!

The first GasLight of 2008 ran to five pages for the Spring session, including a contribution from Dale Jarvis, Newfoundland storyteller, on his new book The Golden Leg & Other Ghostly Campfire Tales.  Pauline Cordiner has a tale to share about a family heirloom, Phyll McBain reviews The Scottish Smuggler by Gavin D Smith, and Anna Fancett tells us of the Aberdeen Student Storytellers doings!
